Our Background

Jake Lavine is a unique entrepreneur that has put his own spark into the beekeeping industry here in Houston, Texas.  Since meeting with experts from around the country at Eastern Apiculture Society in 2013 at The University of West Chester Pennsylvania, Jake Lavine, has dedicated his time and energy to taking care of the honey bee.  No Bee Left Behind, LLC was organized in early 2018 and also received a Trademark from The State of Texas for honey sold by the LLC's exclusive trademark bottles.  No Bee Left Behind is a for profit beekeeping company that charges money to safely remove honey bees.  A new hive box with the approximate value of $100 is used with every bee removal.  It should be noted that we are a beekeeping company that saves bees and our level of commitment to saving the honey bee requires us to incur this expense in order to appropriately accommodate them in our apiary(s).

"Feel good knowing you're bees are being safely re-homed!"

When you want the best for your home or business, trust No Bee Left Behind to get the job done right.  We offer solutions that cater to every bee removal scenario and can write up a quote for each unique situation.

Our organization has grown over the years with the help of every customer who chosen to rescue and save their honey bees.  We are driven by our customers who demand high quality beekeeping services.  In addition to honey production, we proudly hold beehives for customers who specifically use us for securing their  AG exemption.

Live - Honey Bee Removal

No Bee Left Behind, LLC performs all live Honey Bee Removals.  All bee removals take place and lead up to nightfall.  This is done so that we can gather up all the foragers who return to the beehive by dark every night.  We use an infrared camera to help identify the colony before we open the structure.  Most jobs can be completed between 1-3 days including repairs.  The area is bee-proofed and a warranty is offered when we complete the repairs.  The warranty is good for 6 months or to the end of the year whichever is first.   All of the comb is removed, along with the queen bee, and forager bees.  We do not recommend exterminating and leaving the comb inside the walls of a house.   You will be doing yourself a favor to have the comb completely removed than to keep it in there to rot.  If you exterminate or leave the comb inside the structure to rot, bees will eventually take up residence there again.  You will likely have rodent/critter problems and a pungent odor until you clean out the residual waxy substance.

"Most bee removal jobs cost between $400-$600"

Honey

We offer a variety of honey from several locations.  Our Cypress, TX honey is the most sought after as most people want honey as close to home as possible.  Most folks who stop by the honey stand to purchase honey tell me they are seeking RAW - LOCAL honey for their allegies.  We have as local as you can get honey and as raw as mother nature can make it!  Our Cypress honey is very complex comprising of a variety of different plants common in neighborhood backyards.  Our Wildflower honey has a very consistent flavor year after year, whereas the Cypress honey comes out unique and different every harvest...

"You never know what people plant in their backyards"

Our newest endeavor is the opening of an apiary in Colombus, TX with a 25 hive expansion during mid summer of 2020!
